Molly and Max visit

This weekend has been very eventful as the humans noticed that I had a little bald patch above my eye. Being on the safe side, they decided to call up the vets to check me over. 

Now, most doggies hate the vets, but not me! I literally love it! I go to a lovely local vets called Molly and Max which is in Parsons Green and they have special dog and cat seperate waiting areas. Probably for the best because I get a little over excited when I see cats! 

The lovely people at Molly and Max give me lots of treats just for being cute so I really don't mind a quick check over for some chicken!  

Anyway they had a look at me and dyed my eyeballs green to check for anything that might have caused my bald patch... I look pretty scary!  

Must remember to pop in on Halloween! 

Anyway- turns out that I am OK and the vets gave the humans some cream just to be on the safe side. 

PLUS- check out my rosette... It's a Royal Canin slim pet award for my perfect physique! I'm not one to blow my own trumpet (and I suppose I have my humans to thank for my portion control), but I'm glad that the vets can see my fine puggy form! I'm quite greedy if I'm honest but humans keep telling me they are being cruel to be kind. All the walkies has paid off as I am looking January gooooood!

Festive walk

I've been a little busy over the past week trying to eat as much turkey and sprouts as possible. Christmas time is always a time for some over indulging and I was feeling a bit podgy so humans took me for a nice festive walk. 

Some fresh air did me the world of good and now I am ready for dinner! 

Busted

Uh oh... I just got caught red handed nibbling on humans bobble hat.  Tried to look innocent but apparently evidence of blue fluff gave it away...

First day at work

The first day at a new job is always pretty scary but I think I was a hit!

The main thing that human told me was to keep my head down and stay out of trouble, which I really tried to do- I'm not too sure if I managed to totally keep out of trouble and did have a small nibble on the odd piece of paper but generally I really did try my hardest to behave! 

This is me sitting on some important documents- I'm keeping them safe. 

I quite like this office dog thing- lots of people to play with and more people to give me strokes and treats! 

Christmas is coming!

It's the 1st of December already and I am just SO excited! I helped human open door number 1 of the advent calander this morning. I thought I could be speedy and sneak another open without her noticing but no such luck.  

Aparently it's nearly time for festive jumpers.... Oh nooooo..... 

I'm a pug... Get me out of here!

Day one in the jungle and I'm just not sure I like this place! Creepy crawlies everywhere- I'm not sure if I'll survive a night in camp, worms and all sorts of scary creatures out here!

Double chin...

Human has been taking some rather unflattering photos recently and I'm beginning to get a little self conscious about my double chin.  I decided to take a few selfies to work out my best side... What do you think?!

It's the end of a long weekend and I am a sleepy pug. Where better to rest my weary paws but lying on human!

Country weekend

This weekend I went to visit the grand-pugs in the countryside which I absolutely love because I get pampered and treated like the pooch that I am!  

One comfy bed in front of the Arga works for me... And relax!

Today I went to visit my friend Max who is a daschund and a little bit younger than me but still super cool.  We had a play then human decided to have us partake in a photo shoot... Neither of us were particularly amused!  

Apparently it's quite an 'arty' pic... Humans... What are they like! 

Pug in a box

My humans have been moving house and I didn't want to be left behind so I decided to crawl into one of the boxes and look cute so I didn't get forgotten.  It's perfect pug size but I don't think those human folk would actually pack me in a box!  

Happy Halloween!

Human posted my Halloween outfit early this year, so my spider pug is old news! Instead I thought I would share this rather clever pumpkin pug! I would like to say I carved it with my own paws but that would be a lie! Us pugs can be rather scary when we try! Roooaaarrrr!!!  

Chelsea pug!

Today I was a city pug and ventured into central London! Chelsea darling to precise! We trotted down the Kings road and had a quick coffee whilst watching the world go by.  I also spotted some very pretty chihuahuas!   I think it suits me around here!  

What happened to riding up front?!

Human has demoted me to the boot of the car because I was a naughty pug and kept jumping around. I am now on probation until I learn to sit nicely. SO unfair!  

Some Tuesday love

Tuesday's are notoriously the worst day of the week... Aggggeeeesss to go until long weekend walkies and the human makes me trundle off to work every day with her.  So here I am with a heart chew sharing some puggy love with all of you lovely people.

Computer skills

Any good pug needs skills and I've heard it's all happening online. Human orders all sorts on here... Might just sneak a few bags of treats into the basket... Hope she doesn't notice! 

Sofa etiquette

My humans are always trying to teach me some sofa etiquette and have said that they would rather I ask before bounding up onto the cushions... This rarely happens but today I poked my head up to check what was going on and human was in my spot! Move up or I will just have to plonk myself on your knee.

The infamous pug run

There is a secret run that pugs do when they are excited and it's known as... The pug run! We have a mad few moments and then stop and carry on as if nothing has happened! 

Humans have tried to capture this on camera over the centuries, but us pugs are clever and stop when we see a camera approach!  My human however seems to have caught me.... It's a little burry (and not a proper image including my straight tail) but here goes!

Birthday time (not mine)

Today is female humans birthday! I love birthdays because there is always wrapping to play with and humans tend to be in a good mood so they don't stop me tearing it to shreds all over the sitting room floor!  

I bought female human some yummy macaroons because she is pretty good to me and treated me on my birthday! Male human had to buy them for me and wouldn't actually let me have them until the last minute to stop me snuffling them! 

Humans let me try a doggy friendly one- ooooh yum yum!  

Table manners are essential

Any discerning pug will know that table manners are essential at meal times. First you must sit and wait patiently for dinner to be served... 

Then you need to not dive in head first- this is a tricky one but I've learnt that humans tend to be a little more generous with the portion size if I wait nicely!  

Then it's full speed ahead until the bowl is finished!  

Nom nom nom... Delicious! Lip licking good!
